R.H. Coutier “Ambonnay” Brut Rosé Champagne
The Coutier Family has a long history (1600’s) of fine sparkling wine in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, located inside of the Champagne region of France. The term “Grand Cru” is a regional wine classification that serves more as an indicator that the wine is of superior quality from a superior location, rather than an absolute. This sparkling wine exhibits elegant floral notes of rose petals and a touch of greenish underripe strawberry, layered with toast and yeast. Bright acidity and a touch of sour, green apple-like tannins. This is a true Champagne that lends an air of class and success. Share it with that recent graduate or newlywed couple. Cheers.
