Borgo Moncalvo 2014
Review by Eric Tansey, CSW
This is a light bodied red wine, from the Asti region of Piedmont in Italy. The nose has light aromas of raspberries and spice. On the palate, tangy raspberry or underripe strawberry. Electrifying acidity, bright fruit and soft tannins with a very dusty finish. Pair with pizza, medium aged cheese, a good pot roast, and of course, spaghetti.
